Cymatherapy Training Courses

Please note: The first two courses will be offered on site in Atlanta, November 1 and 2, 2008, and available via Teleconference beginning in 2009.

Introduction to Cymatherapy One Day 9am-6:30pm $50

This workshop is open to anyone interested in Cymatherapy.

Participants explore the History of Sound Healing, Sound used in Eastern and Western healing traditions, Cymatics - Hans Jenny, MD, Cymatherapy - Peter Guy Manners, DO, see visible proof the positive power of sound and its effectiveness as it pertains to physical, emotional mental states of health via Case Studies, experience practical techniques for energetic balancing of the sound pathways, and share direct experiences of Cymatherapy.

This workshop is open to anyone interested in Cymatherapy. Participation in Introduction to Cymatherapy is recommended. (Or self education on the topics in Introduction to Cymatherapy in order for participant to begin at the same level as the rest of the participants enrolled in the Cymatherapy Basics course.

This day will deepen the understanding of sound rebalancing the body to its natural state of harmony, and gives the Participant with the basic principles needed to proceed with a course of study in becoming a Certified Practitioner of Cymatherapy.

  • Participants learn the scope of a Cymatherapy session: scheduling an appointment, client intake and consent forms, how to plan a session, session notes, how to track results.
  • Participants are introduced to the Pathways of Sound technique for rebalancing the body and the Body Systems Approach.
  • Participants are given suggestions for planning and getting started in a business, use of correct and safe language, and an overview of ethics.
  • Participants will be shown how to collect data for a case study.**
  • A certificate of completion will be issued to each participant.
  • *Participant may wish to begin Anatomy Physiology requirement at this time, (see criteria below).

    **Pre-approved, completed case studies are a prerequisite for advancing to the Certified Cymatherapy Practitioner Certification level.

    Cymatherapy Practitioner Certification $750

    Prerequisite: Cymatherapy Basics, Submission of 3 pre-approved (short term) case studies, and *Letter of Intent to fulfill Anatomy Physiology requirement (or submit transcript).

    Each participant will be assigned a preceptor and receive an invitation to become a member of a study group.

    With the application to this course, registrants may also apply for Junior membership to the ACCP.

    The Junior membership status will include a “Certificate of Internship,” participants may display in their workplace, while completing the certification process.

    The Cymatherapy Practitioner Certification course is conducted through teleconferences, home study and onsite trainings. Understanding and application of information is demonstrated through the submission of questionnaires, feedback forms, research papers and participation in Practitioner Teleconference Forums.

    This course of study covers Cymatherapy as it relates to:

  • Nutrition (3 hrs), Chinese 5 Elements/Meridians (3 hrs), Pain Pathways, Inflammation and Scar Tissue (5 hrs), Pain Relief Protocols for Shoulders, Knees, Hips, Back and Muscle Pain (3 hrs), Emotional Release/Psychology-PNI (2 hrs), Homotoxicology (2 hrs), the Technology of Sound (2 hrs) the Physics and Biophysics of Sound (2 hrs).
  • Practitioners will present on a panel in 2 Practitioner Forums via teleconference (2 hrs).
  • Practitioners will begin collecting data for 3 pre-approved (long term) case studies.
  • (Anatomy & Physiology coursework must be completed to receive this Certificate.)

    After completion of this coursework, practitioner will receive full certification and may place the letters CCP behind their name and apply to ACCP for full status membership.

    Cymatherapy Master Practitioner Certification (Graduate Course) $250

    Prerequisite: Completion of Cymatherapy Basics and Cymatherapy Practitioner Certification, and submission of 3 pre-approved (long term) case studies.

    The Cymatherapy Master Practitioner Certification course is conducted through teleconferences and presentations at the annual conference. Understanding and application of information is demonstrated through the submission of questionnaires, feedback forms, participation in Practitioner Teleconference Forums, presentation at the annual conference (presentation may be supported with multi-media or posterboard), and by submitting a research project or thesis that explores topics associated with Cymatherapy.

    *An Anatomy & Physiology Course is a pre-requisite for Cymatherapy Certification. The Certification candidate must submit a transcript of a completed A&P course, a copy of a diploma of an acceptable accredited degree, or a copy of an appropriate professional license to the Cyma Worldwide office before they receive Cymatherapy Certification Certificate. Certification testing can be completed before the A&P class is completed. Course work should be college level and designed to provide you with a deeper understanding of how the body functions and organ/gland placement. Students may take this course from a university, community college, acupuncture school, massage school, etc. If a local school is not available, we accept a 6 credit hour distance learning program from several schools.

    Graduates of medical, chiropractic, acupuncture, osteopathy, nursing, pharmacy, physical therapy, and other health related degree programs will be accepted. All previous courses of study and transcripts will be considered where applicable.

    An official transcript must be provided from the institution with a passing grade of C or above to be accepted by the ACCP (Association of Certified Cymatherapy Practitioners)

    Continuing Education

    After completion of the Cymatherapy Practitioner Certification course, Continuing Education requirements will become part of the ACCP membership and Practitioner in Good Standing," process.

    Criteria for 2009 and 2010 is listed below.

  • Practitioner skills will be kept current by submitting three (3) pre-approved case studies, per year.
  • A total of 30 CE credits will be required for 2009 and 2010.
  • Certificates will be renewed on a two (2) year cycle.
  • Continuing Education credits can be accumulated by:

  • Attending the Cymatics Conference
  • Participating in ACCP approved Cymatherapy and sound related teleconferences, onsite classes and professional seminars. (Practitioners will be asked to “Submit for Verification,” a copy of the registration and information on content and highlights of the workshop prior to registering for classes, if class is not already preapproved).
